Main Character. He/Him - Demisexual, Panromantic
Xen is kind and helpful when he isn't hungry or otherwise engaged. His mind has been magically injured in a way that gives him an odd amnesia which he finds difficult to deal with (when he remembers he has it). Xen wants to recollect his memories, but due to his condition, he will be forced to rely on those around him for help, and not everyone will want the best for him.

Xen's Best Friend. He/Him - Asexual, [undecided/nonconfirmed]
Nate is a ball of anxiety wrapped up in bugs and buggy parts. He wants to be helpful, but it’s very difficult for him to deal with groups. He was taught that Not-Normals should help other Not-Normals. Nate’s grown very close to Xen, effectively considering him as a brother. Nate is just trying to help Xen get through his days. This does lean into him helping Xen with attempting to remember what has happened in the recent past. Nate’s going to be Xen’s main point of structure throughout the comic.
